To All:

I regret to inform you that the 2009 Austin Open has been cancelled.  It is slated to return to the golf calendar in the third weekend of April 2010.

The tournament was unable to attract the necessary sponsorship to host the event at the level of quality it requires.  We appreciate all the players who have supported the event over the past four years and hope to put on an even better competition for them next year. 

To ensure the future of the event I am organizing a Tournament Committee.  The purpose of the Committee will be to take the Austin Open to new levels of success.  Thanks for your understanding.  Good luck on the course this year.
